Dr. Carey Bachman was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her interest in veterinary medicine became apparent when she donned her dad’s white collared shirt and carried around pound puppies for “Dress for the Future” day in second grade. Her passion for pets has only grown since that time. Dr. Bachman graduated suma cum laude with a bachelors in zoology from the University of Oklahoma in 2006. In 2010 she graduated (with Dr Little Jim!) from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
For the past 14 years Dr. Bachman has worked as a general practitioner and emergency veterinarian in South Oklahoma City. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and anything in which she can “fix the pets”!
When not in the clinic, Dr. Bachman enjoys relaxing with a book, making art, cooking, vacationing, scuba diving, hiking, or just trying to keep up with her two young daughters! She also shares her home with an ornery three-legged cat and two adorable little scruffy dogs.
