Karime is a valued member of the veterinary care team at Wedgewood Pet Clinic in Oklahoma City, bringing six years of experience in veterinary medicine and a strong passion for patient care. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations, with an expected graduation in 2026. Her communications background supports clear, compassionate interactions with clients and contributes to a positive clinic experience.
Karime finds her work most rewarding when she can help pets feel better and see the positive difference quality veterinary care makes from their initial visit through recovery. She also enjoys being part of surgical procedures and values the teamwork and precision involved in supporting successful outcomes. Her interest in veterinary medicine began at a young age, inspired by caring for her own pets and experiencing firsthand the impact of quality veterinary care.
Karime chose Wedgewood because of the clinic’s kind, welcoming environment and the genuine care shown by the doctors and team members. She values working alongside professionals who are dedicated to both pets and the people who love them.
Outside of the clinic, Karime enjoys attending hot yoga classes, doing her nails, spending time with friends and family, and trying out new coffee shops. She shares her home with her dogs Oso, Selene, Ellie, and Shiesty, and loves traveling to California when she gets the chance.
